Proclamation

Persons with learning disabilities are average and above in intelligence. The disability is lifelong and can impact academic learning. Persons with learning disabilities frequently have challenges in reading and written expression, social and coping skills, lack of organization, impulsive and distractible behavior.

We will help.
And you can, too.

"I was told I wasn't very bright. My parents, teachers and I were not expecting much. I spent hours in the principal's office. In 1990, a member of LDA-I helped me discover that I had learning disabilities - my brain was 'wired a little differently'."
