Proclamation

Persons with learning disabilities are average and above in intelligence. The disability is lifelong and can impact academic learning. Persons with learning disabilities frequently have challenges in reading and written expression, social and coping skills, lack of organization, impulsive and distractible behavior.

We will help.
And you can, too.

"I had severe difficulty in elementary school, especially in reading. Many teachers and other students made fun of me. I found out that I could excel in athletics and used this ability to be accepted. Finally, it was discovered that I was learning disabled. I received some help and I finished college and completed a master's degree in special education. Today I teach in the field of special education and am so proud that I was chosen Teacher of the Year in my city."
