The Learning Disabilities
Association of Iowa will award three scholarships to high
school seniors planning to obtain post-secondary education
(college or vocational) for the 2007-2008 school year.
Description
The scholarships
are to assist students with learning disabilities in
pursuing a post-secondary education at an accredited
institution which provides:
a. a two-
or four-year college program, or
b.
vocational training
The scholarship
is to be used for school-related expenses.
This does not include gasoline, meal plans, or living
expenses.

Amount
Three
scholarships valued at $1,000.00 each will be awarded for
the 2007-2008 school year.
Selection
The Learning
Disabilities Association of Iowa will select the scholarship
recipients from
applications postmarked no later than March 31, 2007.
Payment
Procedures
In the fall,
after verifying their enrollment, LDA-I will send the
winners checks for $250.00 payable to the students.
Recipients will receive checks for $750.00 when
documentation is received by LDA-I that students have
completed the vocational training or the first year of
school as a full-time student.

Applicant must
fully complete and submit two forms: 1) The two-page
scholarship application, and 2) the publicity form.
