LDA-IA CONFERENCE PARENT SCHOLARSHIPS
LDA-IA 2008 ANNUAL CONFERENCE……October 19-21, 2008

Did you know that there are FREE scholarships available to parents to attend the conference? This is a great conference and a valuable resource for parents who are seeking information and support in helping their child attain success in the classroom.
Free registration is being offered to one parent of a child who is thought to have learning disabilities and/or ADHD from each Area Education Agency across the state of Iowa. This scholarship covers the registration fee and luncheons on Monday and Tuesday. For parents who need financial assistance, a stipend of $50.00 each day they attend the conference is available up to $150.00. The scholarship recipient must be a first-time recipient of the scholarship.
Parents do not have to stay at the hotel where the conference is being held and do not have to attend the conference all three days to be eligible for the scholarship.
All parent scholarship application forms are to be returned by October 3, 2008 to:

If more than one application is received from the same AEA, a drawing will be held to determine the winning parent's name. The winning parent will be sent verification of their conference registration.
